VATTAVADA
Vattavada is famous for its wide veriety of crops which is not seen in other places of kerala. Which includes varieties of apples, oranges, strawberries, guavas, pears, blackberries, plums, gooseberries, canistels, peaches and passion fruits, etc. This was also famous for cultivating wheat.
The slopes of the multi-coloured vegetable fields are dotted with various forest patches. One can see beautiful trees like Eucalyptus and Conifers in these parts. You can also observe some rare butterfly species here, fluttering around in various hues and sizes.

How to reach vattavada
Once you have reached Kochi, you can either hire a direct cab to Vattavada or take a bus to Munnar and then from there, a cab to Vattavada. Munnar is located at a distance of about 45 km from Vattavada and 125 km from Kochi. By Rail: Aluva has the nearest railhead to Vattavada at a distance of about 160 km.
