Ramakkalmedu is one of the top Thekkady tourist spots that no one should miss on their Kerala trip. The place has a high significance among the locals as well as among the tourists. It not only offers some of the best views of Thekkady greenery but one can also smell freshly grown cardamom, pepper, tea, rubber, and coffee here. On top of the hill, you will also find a huge statue of Kuruvan and Kuruthi. The 300 m high pillar is an excellent vantage point to observe the awe-inspiring and scenic natural landscape of Ramakalmedu.
