ATHIRAPILLY WATERFALLS

Athirappilly Falls is the largest waterfall in Kerala and is nicknamed “The Niagara of South India”.

In the monsoon season, it appears like Niagara Falls.It also offers views of the Sholayar hills and the Western Ghats.

The months from November to February sees the winter season in Athirapally and it is also the best time to visit Athirapally as the weather is quite cool and pleasant. Sightseeing activities can be best enjoyed during these months.

Athirappilly Falls Visiting Time : 8:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.

There are plenty of shops near the falls and during the off monsoon season visitors could bath and swim in the many natural rocky pools at the top of the falls.
