DAY 01 TRIVANDRUM – KOVALAM
On Arrival at Trivandrum, you will be received by our representative and transfer to the hotel at Kovalam. Later in the evening enjoy boating in Poovar followed by a visit to the renowned Kovalam beach. Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach destination. Kovalam has been a favourite haunt of tourists for decades. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 02 TRIVANDRUM SIGHTSEEING
Morning after your breakfast proceeds for a half-day sightseeing tour of Trivandrum. The major places covered will be a tour that starts with The Zoo, The Napier Museum, Art Gallery. Afternoon visit the Kuthiramalika Heritage Museum and the local market. By evening you will be taken to the famous Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple (Strict dress code). After darshan you will be transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 03 KOVALAM - KANYAKUMARI
Morning enjoy the sunrise on the beach along with watching the fishermen catching the fishes. After your breakfast by 9:AM proceed for a day trip to Kanyakumari. On the way to Kanyakumari visit the Chenkal Maheswaram Temple. Also known as Dakshina Kailasam you can see a huge Siva lingam reaching up to a height of 111 feet. It is the tallest Shivalinga in the country, with recognition from the India Book of Records. The construction has six meditation halls, 108 different Siva lingams, and 64 forms of Lord Siva.
Later visit the famous Padmanaphapuram Palace, the erstwhile capital of Travancore Kingdom. Your next place of visit is the famous Sucheendram Temple. Check in to your hotel.
After lunch take a boat cruise in the sea to visit Vivekananda Rock (dedicated to Swami Vivekananda and Thiruvalluvar memorial (Thiruvalluvar is a Tamil saint and poet). The Memorial is built at the convergence of the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. Coming back to the mainland, visit Gandhi Memorial, Kanyakumari Devi temple. Kanyakumari is a place where you can enjoy Sunrise and Sunset from the same point, something special to remember. Take a dip at the Triveni Sangam, the place where the three seas meet. It is believed that taking a dip in the Triveni Sangam is a holy thing. Later proceed to sunset viewpoint to view the sunset. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 04 KANYAKUMARI - RAMESWARAM
Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Rameswaram. Rameswaram is one of the most sacred places in India of Lord Shiva's Ramanathaswamy Temple which is located on the beautiful Pamban Island. Rameswaram is one of the four Char Dham pilgrim centres. According to Hindu mythology, this is the place where Lord Rama created a bridge across the sea to Sri Lanka.
After Check-in to your hotel by 2 PM, Dhanushkodi is 20 km from Rameswaram. Dhanushkodi is an abandoned town that was destroyed during the 1964 Rameswaram cyclone and remains uninhabited in the aftermath. The main attraction is the Dhanushkodi beach, the Adam’s Bridge, the abandoned railway station, and a church. By 5 PM drive back and visit Agni Theertham and later to Ramanatha Swami Temple having two jyotir lingas built by Lord Rama and Seetha. Agniteertham is famous for its sacred waters and Pilgrims perform poojas in honour of their ancestors at this seashore. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 05- Rameswaram Local sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for the local sightseeing of Rameswaram covering Gandamadana rock, Satchi, and Hanuman Temple. Satchi Hanuman Temple or The Five-faced Hanuman Temple holds the floating stone which was used to build the bridge between India and Sri Lanka. An earmark of the footprint of Lord Rama is there. Later travel Villoondi Theertham (Theertham means sacred water) where Lord Rama pierced arrow into the sea where emerged sweet water spring emerged by which crew and Goddess Sita quenched their thirst.
Afternoon by 3 PM proceed to Dhanushkodi which is 20 km from Rameswaram. DAY-06 RAMESWARAM-MADURAI
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Madurai. Madurai, the cultural capital of Tamil Nadu and the best place to start or end your South India tour. Check-in to your hotel and later proceed for a half-day sightseeing of Madurai.
Madurai is known for Meenakshi Amman Temple, dedicated to the goddess Meenakshi. There are many other ancient temples in Madurai, including Thiruparankundram. It is one of the important old temples dedicated to Lord Muruga (Karthikeya) and is located on a hillock approximately 8 km from the city. Madurai is part of 95 DivyaDesam Temples. The famous Chithirai festival is one of the longest stretched festivals to be celebrated anywhere in the world that happens in Madurai. Other major attractions in Madurai are the Thirumalai Nayak Palace, AlagarKovil, and Gandhi Museum. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 07 MADURAI DROP
Morning after breakfast, check out hotel, transfer to Madurai airport/railway station to catch flight/train towards onward journey.
