Located at a height of 1700 meters above sea level Kundala is 20 kilometers from Munnar. The immense Kundala Tea Plantations, Kundala Lake, a golf course run by Tata Tea Ltd., and the Kundala Artificial Dam are the main attractions. It is also a photoshoot point to get some of the finest visuals in the Munnar region.

The cherry blossoms which appear twice in a year and the famous Neela Kurunji flowers which bloom once in twelve years are other attractions.
